Roermond Hockey Club Concordia
In the summer of 2021, the south of the Netherlands experienced heavy flooding. From one day to the next, Roermond Hockey Club Concordia had to replace three pitches. Due to flood damage the Dutch Hockey Asscociation (KNHB) disapproved all fields. When constructing the new pitches, a well considered choice was made to use ProPlay shockpads.

ProPlay is made of closed-cell crosslinked polyethylene foams (XPE) that were originally produced for a different purpose in various industries where quality and product performance is key. Schmitz Foam Products combines these foams into a shock pad that delivers the required sports performance and water management.

Fulfils FIH requirements
The ProPlay shock pad is part of the certified field hockey systems applied and installed by numerous artificial grass manufacturers and contractors. It fulfils the FIH requirements as well as th EN 15330-4. As part of these systems our shock pad provides the perfect base for hockey players to compete on.
Easy to install
The interlocking puzzle-shaped sheets with expansion slots are as easy to install as putting together a puzzle. It doesn’t require special skills or equipment and is independent of weather conditions.
25-year warranty
Did you know that we offer a 25-year warranty on our shock pads? Because ProPlay stands for excellent product quality. Not only today, also in many years to come.
The warranty guarantees the shock absorbing properties, vertical deformation and energy restitution of our shock pads for a period of 25 years. It can be requested by the field owner.
